Several Black New England Patriots Players Plan To Skip White House Celebrations

As you know by now, the New England Patriots won their sixth Super Bowl when they defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 on Sunday.

Only 34 players from the Patriots' Super Bowl LI championship team met with President Donald Trump in 2017, according to Darren Hartwell of NBC Sports. "I haven't thought about it, but I highly doubt it", Jason quoted as saying by the Associated Press.

It's likely that at least some of the Patriots will visit the White House, although Trump hasn't officially invited them yet.

"Nah man", Harmon told TMZ Sunday.

Instead, Harmon, who stepped in for Patrick Chung after the starter left the game with an arm injury, would prefer to meet with Obama like the Warriors did earlier this season after the 2018 National Basketball Association champions weren't invited to the White House. "They don't want me in the White House, man".

Harmon told CBS News that it "would be dope" to meet former President Obama, like the Golden State Warriors did earlier this year. "Come holler at me, man".

Martellus Bennett and Devin McCourty were among the absentees as was Tom Brady.

Although Brady has seemed elusive his ties to the president, in 2015 he was spotted with a "Make America Great Again" hat in his locker and was even golf buddies with Trump before he became president. I just feel like, for what he believes and what he says, it doesn't sit well with me, so there's no point in going there. A MAGA hat was spotted in the quarterback's locker back in 2015.

It is an honor to be invited to the White House.
