Fluffy the cat survives being frozen in United States snow

She was found frozen solid in a snow bank in Kalispell, Montana on January 31.

Vets in Montana were able to revive a 3-year-old cat that was almost frozen to death after the pet's owners said they came home last week to find it encrusted in snow.

Jevon Clark, a veterinarian at the clinic, said he was shocked when he first saw the cat, noting that her body temperature was so low it didn't even produce a reading on their thermometer. A normal temperature for a cat is around 100°-102°F.

According to ABC News, doctors used warm water, warming blankets, heating pads and heated cages to try to warm her up.

Despite her harrowing encounter, clinic vets told KULR that by the evening, Fluffy was seemingly back to her normal self and now appears to be recovering. The clinic shared a photo of the unfrozen Fluffy, showcasing her handsome, long fur.

She had to be thawed out after getting buried in snow last month.

Balls of ice stuck to the cat's fur and she was unresponsive when she was taken in for treatment.

"After many hours she recovered and is now completely normal", the clinic said.

On Tuesday, the animal hospital posted the good news of Fluffy's recovery on Facebook. They rushed her to the Animal Clinic of Kalispell just in time.

Dr Clark said Fluffy was three years old and had always lived outdoors. "We'll see if Fluffy likes that or Fluffy doesn't like that", Dr Clark said.

"Either something fell on her or she fell or something chased her and she got injured ..." Fluffy she gained consciousness, but her temperature remained too low.
