Unlike many pop stars who tend to mine drama from nothing, Grande's trauma feels authentic which, in turn, makes her music feel authentic.

At midnight on Friday, the pop star released her second album in less than a year featuring upbeat bops, heartbreaking ballads, and a whole lot of R&B and hip-hop influence.

In the video, Grande exchanges flirty glances with a man she meets (along with his girlfriend) at a club. In one lyric she confesses, "I wish he was here instead / don't want that living in your head / he just comes to visit me when I'm dreaming every now and then". Plus - Ari reveals the real reason she pulled out of the Grammys. "I saw those tweets and what she said".

Shangela told E! News that the cameo happened spontaneously but that Grande's brother, Frankie, helped make the connection. You can ask Melissa Etheridge, who finished her cancer treatment and I put her out on stage, bald, doing Janis Joplin.
