Samsung Galaxy A9 Features Four Rear Cameras

The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) flaunts a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display on the front which carries a resolution of 1080×2220 pixels and 18.5:9 aspect ratio.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is powered by octa-core (4x2.2GHz + 4x1.8GHz) processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. Let us take a look at when the Galaxy A9 (2018) launches and how much you will have to fork over for those four rear cameras. On the front, there is a 24-megapixel shooter (f/2.0) for taking selfies, which is bigger (in megapixel count) than most phones. With four different cameras at the rear, Samsung has put in premium features in the Galaxy A9.

The rear is home to a fingerprint sensor and of course that all-important quad-camera unit, more of which we'll explore below. Next is where the main camera sits with a 24MP f/1.7 lens and lastly is a 5MP f/2.2 lens built for sensing depth.

The Galaxy A9 allows you to capture dynamic and lovely photos effortlessly.

I got the opportunity to spend some time with the Galaxy A9, and here are my first impressions. Using all four cameras, one can obtain professional shots with Scene Optimizer.

The Galaxy A9 will be available here soon.

It will remain to be seen as to whether the Galaxy A9 Star Pro will be making its way to our shores but we will be reaching out to Samsung Australia after the launch for local availability and pricing.

Sleek, with a 3D glass curved back, it comes in three unique colours: Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue and Bubblegum Pink.

The Galaxy A9 has a large 3800 mAh battery, which is bigger than those aforementioned flagships, so we should be looking at a phone with an impressive battery life.

If you think this is the phone for you then there's more good news as the A9 lands in your pocket for a very reasonable £549 - £190 less than the Galaxy S9. This is certainly an impressive device and it is about to get even better after you check out the rest of the specifications, especially the camera side of things. There's a USB Type-C charging port on the bottom next to a single speaker, and a nano SIM and microSD slot reside on the side, allowing for an additional 512GB of storage.

It's unclear when the U.S. models will be available, or the pricing, but we expect both to be announced very soon.
