Ariana Grande Addresses Pete Davidson Split For The First Time

Ariana Grande addresses her breakup with Pete Davidson and says she's quitting social media.

In a now-deleted Instagram story, the Dangerous Woman hitmaker praised her fanbase while rehearsing for NBC's A Very Wicked Halloween.

The singer also touches upon the end of her whirlwind romance with the Saturday Night Live comedian, saying: "Time to say bye bye to the internet for just a lil bit.it's hard not to bump news n stuff that i'm not tryna to see rn [sic]".

"It's very sad and we're all trying very hard to keep going".

Sources close to the singer says she already returned the almost $100k engagement ring Davidson gave her back in June. "Pete had to give her that space out of love".

The 25-year-old seemed to have sustained an injury right in the spot where her "Pete" tribute was to now-ex fiance Pete Davidson, three days after it was claimed that they'd called off the wedding.

Grande has cancelled several gigs she was scheduled to perform following recent events.

"Ariana made the final decision", the source said.

In a video posted to Instagram by makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, which previewed Grande's performance of "The Wizard and I" without sound, fans couldn't help but notice that the "Pete" tattoo on her left ring finger had already been covered up - by a nude-coloured Band-aid. "It was time to realize this wasn't the right time for them and Pete is incredibly heartbroken".

"She has a lot of work to do on herself and she is in the process of healing and recovering from the breakup", the insider said of Grande, who purchased the whopping 4,000 square feet apartment with Davidson in June. Much had changed for the couple over the course of five months: Davidson reportedly spent $93,000 (£70,800) on a diamond engagement ring and he had moved into her $16 million mansion.
