Royals always have someone from the members of the staff opening and closing the doors for them, and this act by Meghan goes against the Royal protocols.

Whether the gesture was planned or not, it worked wonders on people observing it on social media.

A woman has closed her own vehicle door - making headlines globally.

But then she does something insane: The Duchess of Sussex reaches back and closes the vehicle door herself.

"Meghan out here not needin no man to shut her door for her [sic]".

Another wrote: "I really don't think it occurs to her that someone else is there to do that".

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will head to the coast to visit the city of Brighton and Hove in East Sussex for a special away day on Wednesday October 3.

Comparing her accent to Madonna's, a user wrote, "Meghan's developed a case of Madonna's Accent Change #QueenOfTheWorld".

At the time, some armchair experts who were quick to take to the internet to pass on their views on Meghan's breach of "royal etiquette".

Another wrote: "I give up on this world when people are congratulating a person shutting a auto door on their own".

He said: "Usually royalty and dignitaries have someone to open/close auto doors for security reasons: nothing to do with "princess behaviour".

Harry and Meghan will kick off their first joint visit to the county at Edes House, located at the heart of Chichester in West Sussex. There for the opening of a new solo exhibition, she composes herself, then steps out of the vehicle dressed in Givenchy to greet her host (a museum employee, we're guessing) and the zillions of event photogs with cameras all on her.

Others however, were utterly stunned that Meghan closing a vehicle door was making news.
